GREEN VELVET UPDATES - 27 December 2017
After nearly 20 years of producing Green Velvet lubricants Bill Petitjean has decided to retire from active manufacturing and bottling of these important historical oils and greases.
Most of the Green Velvet oils will continue to be manufactured by a contract blender in California and will be available in 5 gallon pails and 55 gallon drums from our main distributor, Brennan Oil Company in Durango, Colorado (see contact information below).
We are discontinuing our Chelesic biodegradable products and Blue Velvet products due to a general lack of interest.
We are currently negotiating licensing agreements with an interested party in Wisconsin to start up a new bottling and grease making operation in the Midwest where a substantial market exists for Green Velvet oils in the antique engine communities.
Bill Petitjean will remain involved with the remaining Green Velvet Products for sales and technical assistance and appreciates the many valued customers and friends he has made over the years. Please call or email with questions or comments so we all may keep these unique products going for many years to come.
Effective December 27, 2017 we will be suspending our online store so we can close our Seattle blending plant. We still have some oil stocks to liquidate. So, if you have a particular need please call or email with your needs and we will respond with our ability to work up product to meet your needs.
Thank you for many years of patronage and loyalty.
